The history of human exploration of Mars, from the first (attempted) landings to the current active orbiters, rovers, and landers.
Each mission has two spans: first, a (usually) shorter span in a darker shade with no visible title, showing its transit from Earth to Mars; then, a labeled “primary” span showing its mission duration.
The mission events contain description text, visible in Event Details or the Inspector, usually containing a link to either the mission’s primary home page or to a Wikipedia or other source. I often included a quick summary of the mission.
