2024-03-28: TimeStory iPad Edition Released!

TimeStory now has a version for the iPad! Containing almost the full feature set of the Mac app, TimeStory iPad Edition has been designed and built to fit the modern iPad experience, from touchscreen gestures to toolbar and menu layout, from Apple Pencil to Magic Keyboard, from Split View to Stage Manager.

Timelines can be moved freely between the Mac and iPad editions, including via Handoff. You can even open the same document stored on iCloud Drive on both at the same time. There is no difference in file format; every timeline document will look the same on either platform. Going forward, all major new TimeStory features will arrive on both editions at around the same time, and they will always remain fully compatible.

The iPad edition is a single download from the App Store, and can be used two different ways:

• Just need a read-only companion to the Mac app? Use it for free to open, view, or export any timeline document, including all Handoff and iCloud functionality.
• Want to use your iPad to create and edit timelines as well? Unlock these features with an in-app purchase. (This is separate from the Mac app, which remains an up-front purchase.) There’s a free trial available, and you can choose a one-time in-app purchase to unlock it forever, or an annual subscription to pay one year at a time. Learn more on the Get TimeStory page.
